To
use GPS interface connecting to GPS, external power for X50 must be used as the
electronic circuitry in the interface require power and the internal power of
X50 is not enough to drive the electronics.
You can use
either: 1. The original AC adapter, if you are using
it at home to manage GPS data between X50/GPS. 2. Car
adapter - the original for Axim or CKUC (which is
included in the complete set GPxX50), or any 5V adapter with 4.0/1.7 plug as supplied
with many other PDAs. 3. Battery Extender PB4A,
if you are using it outdoors/out of car.
